Andrew is a Board Member of The Scots College Foundation and a past parent.
Originally from Brisbane, Andrew attended Brisbane Boys’ College and graduated as school captain in 1980. After school, Andrew started flying training for a Private Licence and started with Qantas in 1988 as a Second Officer on the Boeing 747. Andrew has flown the Boeing 767, Boeing 747-400, Airbus A330 and was a Project Pilot for the introduction of the Airbus A380 in 2008; this involved flying the test A380 aircraft around Europe during the development phase of the aircraft operations.
In Qantas, Andrew has worked as Manager of Airbus Training and Manager Training and Checking Airbus A380. Andrew's current role is a Type Rated Examiner on the Airbus A380.
In the community, Andrew has served as Commodore of the Vaucluse 12’ Amateur Sailing Club and recently served as President of The Scots College Foundation from 2012 until March 2018.
