In 2018, our community rallied to support our rural communities. We're continuing that in 2019 and here's how you can help us.

In 2018, the Old Boys' Union and the College led an outstanding effort to raise funds for rural communities affected by drought. This effort — which you can read more about below — led to nearly $75,000 being raised across over a dozen micro-fundraising iniatives.

Times of financial hardship at home place significant pressure on students attending Scots — and other schools — from the country. Through a tax-deductible contribution to the Foundation Scholarship Fund, you can contribute to the growth of the College's funds for fee remission. That means that there's more money for fee remission, scholarships and means-tested bursaries.

What you can do

Immediately, you can make a tax-deductible contribution to the Foundation Scholarship Fund — here. A tax-deductible contribution of $5,000.00 will be immediately added to the Foundation Scholarship Fund and be used to preserve a diverse educational environment at Scots. You may also wish to join us in providing a full scholarship for a residential place at the College — you can find out more about leaving a major gift, here.

You can also elect to recognise the College in your will — a simple procedure — which allows you to specifically direct your funds toward a cause you care about.

However you choose to get involved — the Foundation can help you make a difference in ensuring that drought doesn't affect the next generation of Australian farmers.
